Ok......this was a hard one for me! I was going through all the ladies of the evening, and was trying to find something that stood out, that's something new..... It was hard. Unfortunately, I felt this year, there was a lot of the "same". I don;t mean it in a bad way, everyone really looked stunning. But one thing I noticed that is an overdone trend, that should be bumped up for the Emmy Awards - nude lips, beach hair. Looks great on anyone, but I expected more from ladies like Heidi Klum, Julianna Hough, and Kat Dennings... (i'll explain more on my "why this doesn't work for me" post..)

Bolder lips are always great for me. Zoey, Christina and Kelly nailed it. I'm also loving Christina's waves - they are still polished, which is perfect on her!
Also I'm totally digging the 60's inspired trend from the beautiful Ginnifer Goodwin. That eye makeup is perfection <3 . Lastly, Kelly Osbourne is ALWAYS a fave for me. The hair, the lip color the dress. love love love. Lastly, Guiliana Rancic's hair is gorg!!! I'd wish she would have done a touch more color on her lips, as this is her classic look that she regularly rocks on E! News. Her makeup artist Catalina Su, is the true expert on that bronze smokey and nude lip combo.
